ABOUT GIVING TO THE HOMELESS:
When the homeless reach out, please join us in giving more than just pocket change. Handing out an inexpensive Matthew 25 Pack offers HOPE to the homeless in a practical and biblical way. All proceeds received will be used to support this Ministry and Christian homeless shelters. There are no salaries paid in this ministry. Our biggest expense is the cost of the materials for the Matthew 25 Packs. Matthew 25 Pack Ministry is a non-proft 501(c)3 organization.

We continue to create Matthew 25 Packs for new areas of the continental US, but we have a way to go. ABOUT THIS MINISTRY:
My wife and I came to the Christian faith later in life. We happened to live in a large city and soon after, we both became burdened to respond better to the homeless that reached out to us. Giving money or nothing, did not seem right, especially having read Matthew 25. We began to hand out food coupons for fast food restaurants. Although giving food seemed a better way to help, we thought more than food was needed and we started handing out pocket Gospels with the food coupons. Soon we added a list of Christian shelters hoping that some may want to get help. Thinking it a waste to have the back side of the list of Christian shelters blank, we included a copy of my testimony on the back. I had been brought to my knees through my addictions. God had turned my life around and we thought this might give someone some hope. We thought more than my testimony might better, so we collected a number of different testimonies of those that have made if off the streets. For a number of years we provided these "little packs" for our church family. Although we thought others may want to give the packs out as well, we never thought God would have us expand this ministry ... until now.

ABOUT THE HOMELESS SHELTER LIST IN EACH PACK:
We do the best we can to review each homeless shelter listed in each Matthew 25 Pack, but it's not feasible to visit every shelter across the country, given our resources. Any help in identifying quality Christian shelters would be greatly appreciated. To do this just click the "Contact Us" link in the information box on this website and send us your comments. The song Amazing Grace is performed by Beverly Rivers. I first heard Beverly's music at a Celebrate Recovery meeting. In my first few weeks of sobriety, it was hard. I knew little about God or the bible, but through Beverly's music, I heard these wonderful truths about God's love for us. Hanging onto those songs and those truths carried me through.
